DJ Mark Marcelo has rocked crowds from San Diego to the Bay, from Los Angeles to Sweden. A West-Coast Bay-Area bred stylist, he seamlessly blends genres and eras, creating a necessary hype for the dance floor.
DJ Mark Marcelo has shared stages with artists such as Spank Rock, The Pack, Aceyalone, Zion-I, Blue Scholars, Native Guns, DJ Kuttin Kandi, and the Visionaries. His mix CD, The Ignant Mix, was named one of the best albums of 2005 by Jeff Chang, author of Can’t Stop Won’t Stop, and was considered the “best hyphy mix” to come through Turntable Lab. His other projects, Scrunchies & Headbands and The After-Party, both very intelligent re-articulations of the 90s R&B era, have also received critical acclaim from music enthusiasts.
